APICS is seeking input from students and partners around the world as it undertakes a research project which is focused on shaping the future of the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation.

 

Over the last couple of months we polled visitors to the apics website to find out how well procurement and supply chain functions were aligned in their business.  Read the poll results and an article from the Portland Group on the same topic.

 

 

This Certificate covers the fundamental purchasing principles that should underpin any Purchasing or Supply Chain career. It ensures that your Purchasers are well-placed to build strong purchasing careers and to deliver performance advantages to your organisation.

The module Managing Business Records, Risk and International Purchasing is scheduled to start on July 11th.  Students can begin their Diploma of Purchasing with this module.

Students wishing to sit either the APICS CSCP or CPIM exams on the 23rd of June are reminded that they need to register and pay before the 14th of May. 

 

Three modules of the APICS CPIM certificate are being scheduled for semester two.  Review the full schedule  to plan to participate or make an early registration.
